I woke up early…And walked out to our little balcony to enjoy some sunshine and my book since it was too early to get up to go diving. I walked out the door and was stunned… the view was amazing. It really felt like I got a small present and I was very grateful. Gen woke up and sat down with me. At 7 I jumped on my motorbike to go to the diveresort.

After nine hours of sleep we wake up feeling refreshed. We get up before the alarm (which was set at 6:30) get dressed, enjoy breakfast (banana pancakes with chocolate J ) and pack our daypack. Today we have a pretty full program and we’re planning to stay on the other side of the Island (in Anda). So we go to our motorbike and just to be sure I check whether we have our registration papers… turns out they are not in the motorbike, and the lady is in shock… She looks around while we wait and finds the originals. So we’re good to go.
Last night I spent most of my time waiting, but despite the good efforts of people trying to keep me up (i’m so not a nocturnal person) I fell asleep just before Gen arrived. She was supposed to call me through whatsapp so I would wake up and wait for her downstairs. But she couldn’t get online and so at some point, when I was deeply asleep… I heard knocking on my door… and there she was. Reunited while she was jetlagged and I was sleepy. HUG, laughter and such a great feeling!
But we moved to bohol and are doing great! Hopefully tomorrow there will be electricity again.
So today was not really eventfull.. I can say it’s easily compressed into : had breakfast, got on the boat, had a really great fun drive in a minivan back to cebu, walked around a shopping mall for a bit, and checked in to the hotel where my luggage was waiting for me. So far, so good… So isn’t there anything to say? Well… There was some frustration after I checked in.
