I slept in, at least, that’s what I tried.I woke up a little after 6 in the morning.. no hurries for tody so I snuggled back under my blanket enjoying the cool that the airconditioning brings. My book and I have become good friends.

Today started early! I had a really bad night, hardly slept and was happy I woke up because my alarm decided not to wake me up. There was no breakfast so I ate some biscuits, had a lot of water and put on my water clothes. After a morning cigarette I waited outside for ‘ Hector’ to come pick me up. Apparently there are some other people in the Inn that want to join so we wait a litte and just after 7 o clock we take off.
After a lovely sleep I wake up feeling refreshed… I think me and my jetlag have parted! After packing my bags and a lovely breakfast (fresh fruit pancakes) I pack my snorkel and mask and head to the dive shop. Today we’re going to see the sardines!
After I finally arrived on my final destination (cebu) I took a cab to my hotel. When I checked in the sweet guy told me that ha had no private bathrooms but… I only ha to share my bathroom with 1 other room, and that room was free… So basically I had my own bathroom but it wasn’t ensuite.
As always I humm the melody of a John denver in my head. ‘ All my bags are packed I’m ready to go’ . I guess singing in a choir with a John Denver medley has had it’s influence. My bags actually have been packed for almost a week, and I have to say I’m proud that I all fitted in to one backpack and a smaller travel bag. 11KG of p0sessions and off I go.
